Thursday in the Square is another free concert that is always a great time! Great people, great music, and a great time! I look forward to every year! Well worth the time we spend driving from Lockport to Buffalo and you can't beat the price-$3.00 for parking and $3.50 for a beer. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes music.

My friends and I attended the Eric Burdon and the Animals concert 8/31/07. They were great but we had to sit through 2 lousy, talentless, boring bands. Unfortunately the event outgrew itself and morphed somewhat into an after-work meeting place adjacent to a concert. Don't get me wrong - that's just as cool. Awesome because it is a FREE live concert outdoors. Sounds like a dream but, there are soooo many people that you will inevitably get beer spilled on your shoes from people just walking into you. If you want to actually hear the music get there early and secure a spot close to the stage because otherwise it may be hard. Could be better if there was more space.

fun but often crowded. since it is free, you get all sorts of people. Its fun to people watch but you also get some ignorant people. it is sometimes hard to move around so, once you find a spot try to keep it. otherwise the bands are usually good. they usually get a group for everybody.

I'm planning my entire summer around 2007's thursday at the square. It's a great way to start out every Thursday right in downtown Buffalo. Everybody there is there to have a great time, and thats it.

Thursdy at the Square is always something fun to do on a Thurday night in the summer! I have seen some amazing bands that come and play for free here and then blow up on the charts in the next year...example: Finger 11 and Default.

The best thing is it is FREE!!

I highly suggest checking it out, you won't regret it
