This was my first trip to the Bahamas and i wanted to eat off of the Atlantis Resort Complex. I surfed the web and read the reviews and select Cafe Matisse.

The food was delicious! The portions weren't too big and it was seasoned very well. It was a great place for two people to have a good dinner. It was a little bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

we visit nassau 2 or 3 times a year, and cafe matisse is always part of the trip. this has replaced graycliff as our choice for a memorable meal in great surroundings.

dine in the courtyard, enjoy the incomparable ginger lemonade and savor absolutely anything on the menu.

The service and hospitality were outstanding and only surpassed by the excellent food. The atmosphere was romantic and fun at the same time. Great for a honeymooning couple or a group of friends.

I dont know what is going on at Matisse these days but the dinner we had a couple of weeks ago is sadly our last.
After over an hour of waiting and three servings of bread, we ( a taqble of six) saw a couple leave their table- they hadnt eaten; we then realized that not one table in the courtyard had an entree.
We got our dinners after another ...
