  • Great Sangria:)
    By ShanaddaK, 09/10/09
I love Charley Brown's Mexican restaurant. Every time I get a chance to go there, I really do feel cozy and catered with delicious and real authentic Mexican food. Its a mouthful, so get your stomach ready. The cheese is beyond stretch and the jalapenos are fresh as well. The service is really good and I hope you enjoyed it as much as me. ...

  • Won't order from here again...
    By Dental Squid, 11/16/08
As an American ex-pat who has had plenty of good authentic Mexican food, my wife and I found this place below average on taste. Taco Loco's and Sunrise Tacos deliver better tasting food.
We don't mind paying the price for good food but this place doesn't live up to it's above average price tag. The Nacho Supreme was bland only ...

  • Prawn Enchiladas
    By Yathanee, 11/04/08
I was not a big fan of Mexican food, not before eating here anyway... I know Charlie Brown's from my friend. Last Friday, I went there before the big night, Halloween, and they have the seafood menu only for the weekend - Fri, Sat and Sun night so I ordered the Prawn Enchiladas with the cream sauce... OMG!!! I was about to lick the plate when I ...

  • The freshest mexican food in bangkok
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/08
Visited Charley Browns on the recommendation of a client last week. Arrived to be welcomed by the farang manger who was friendly and very helpful in helping us decide what to eat and drink. We had some gorgeous Sangria and a red snapper burrito in a cream sauce which was to die for. Music was cool, old style which suited the place and the waitresses were actually switched on which is a change for Bangkok. Highly recommended for decent tex-mex

  • Two Thumbs Up For Charlie Brown's
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/08
We loved this place - tucked away on a small sub-soi off Sukhumvit 11, it's not easy to find, but it's worth hunting down.

There's a little outdoor patio outside for smokers and cooler nights.

The food was great and so were the margaritas (stronger than you think!).

But the best part was the service. There's a games box to ...

My first trip to Thailand was a thrill and this restaurant came along buzzing with exitment.
    The cabaret must be seen.
One of the highlights of my trip.

  • Good stuff!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/21/08
If you crave Tex/Mexican food, you will want to check this place out. Good food, very nice service. The place is hard to find. It is back on a small side street.

  • British-Mex?
    By R, 03/07/08
Why do people out of their league try to assimilate Mexican food?
At best the food is sub-mediocre Thai-Mex food!! Just drink some poorly made margaritas and that's it. Food is terrible.

  • Tasty Tacos!
    By Stephanie, 02/26/08
As an expat Texan who doesn't have access to a lot of Mexican food anymore, this place was a tasty bit of home. So, my taste buds may be a little biased, but the food here was good - fresh guacamole, yummy tacos with a nice spice to the meat, and great fresh salsa. My only complaint is the price- in the land of cheap and tasty food, this is pricy... but worth it!

  • Great food - shame about the music
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
Me and my husband went to Charley Browns after some friend's recommended it. We had a really good time the staff were very freindly and fast.
The food was excellent. Especially the chicken wings and fajjitas and we both loved the margaritas.
The only problem was the music all old pop songs from England. Some customers are not English and not 40 years old!
