The Pines is not the place to stay if you're looking for a nice room to sleep in with the family. It's known in the area as a short stay motel. It's also used by the county's department of social services and some of the local churches to house the homeless. You must be buzzed into the office, yet there is no outside security. ...
Upon checking it at the Pines Motor Lodge in Westbury I was incredibly disappointed at the appearance of the motel. BASIC ACCOMODATIONS

This motel is perfect for a local stay for something like a local wedding or a place to stop from one destination to another.
It's a no-frills motel. However, very clean. Close to alot of restaurants and the mall.
Would definately recommend it for a basic place to stay for a night or two.
