    The specialty is seafood (fruits de mer) and the salmon is the best anywhere. Attentive service and period furnishings are an elegant setting on the Boulevard des Italiens.

    We loved the brasserie atmosphere at La Taverne. The food was good, and the service was good also. However, the ambiance and the value for the dinner EXPERIENCE was superb. A live pianist in the evening, the lively atmosphere of the entire restaurant, and the beautiful decor make this Paris landmark a place we will look forward to enjoying ...
