  • Oh! What a meal
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/09
The ambiance was fabulous. Small town feel with great dining for the evening meal. The bar was just right. Grab a beer and head up to your room (3rd floor), Good excersize at 61. No problem. Head out for a nice walk after a brief rest with your favorite beverage. Accomodations are very adequate. No frills like TV or internet but then who ...

  • Begorah! we're not too happy today
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/09
The proprietor who goes by the name of Doreen, made sure that my guests and I had a terrible experience. They advertised an Irish Band for St Patrick's day. And for this reason, primarily, we selected Inn of the Hawke for our St. Patrick's day fête. During our meal, which was fair in quality, the band, Rickety Bridge, which we were ...

  • Hidden gem in Tourist Town
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/08
We've been coming here for years: the food is fresh, creative and varied which changes daily. The menu includes salads and sandwiches to full courses - including good vegetarian dishes. The bar is large enough for comfort and the outdoor patio is one of the nicest around. It attracts a mix of locals, families and tourists. We have been so ...

  • Tucked away charm!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/08
I had the pleasure of dining at the Inn with my co-workers during the winter holidays for our annual office luncheon as well as in the heat of the summer.

The food was just unbelievable!!! The charm of this restaurant made the experience a totally relaxing one. It also has a very comfortable, large bar area -- and a secluded patio for the ...

  • Home in Lambertville
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/07
The Inn of the Hawke is just near enough to the main street of Lambertville to walk, and just far enough that its not flooded with tourists. Its a great place to stay when you want to visit New Hope, PA because its a 10 minute walk. The atmosphere throughout the Inn is wonderful... the huge garden patio is a great place to hang out in the summer, ...

  • Good deal.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/07
The Hawke is a perfect inn for those occasions when you are not going to spend a great deal of time in your room. Although, the rooms are quaint and cozy (and very clean), they are on the smaller side and do not have fancy amenities such as tvs, cd players, jacuzzis, breakfast in bed... Nor, are there beautiful views from your window. What makes ...
