I went there during my vacation in August 2007 and it was excellent! Although it was a little crowed they attented us fast and the food was great. I highly recomend it to anyone who visits GDL.

This restaurant was recommended by the Hotel concierge as authentic Mexican, which it is. And it is cheap. However, do not expect much. This is a very basic diner with very limited menu. You will be safe ordering the house special which is beef with beans cooked in its own juice. If you enjoy loads of fat and chollesterol - order the queso.

I went to guadalajara in July 2007 and one of friend took me there, and I really enjoy how fast they attend it to us. Ihighly recomen it to others can wait to go back.

Karne Garibaldi is a great local restaurant in Guadalajara. Their special dish, "Carne en su jugo" is a treat. The service is in the Guiness records as the fastest. Few gringos go here so it is a great Mexican experence. It's a family place so expect children. As gringos we have always been treated as anyone else in the place if not better. Open up and you'll have a wonderful time.
