THIS IS WHERE MY BRIDE TO BE AND I GOT ENGAGED, THE PEOPLE WERE SO FRIENDLY, AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT (HOME COOKED). WE PLAN ON MAKING THIS A FUTURE PLACE TO VISIT. THE ROOMS WERE COZY, A GREAT PLACE FOR A ROMANTIC WEEKEND. WE PLAN ON GOING BACK IN MARCH.

It's a wonderful place to stay. If you are down to Springfield for a visit, it's walking distance to Lincoln's library and his historic home. The house is beautiful and well kept. And breakfasts are excellent. For business travelers, it's 6 blocks from the capitol, and they provide wireless internet. Also, the owner is so warm and welcoming. You feel like you're part of the family. Highly recommended.
