This is a wonderful bed and breakfast for families. My husband, sons (9&7), and myself enjoyed every part. We arrived a bit late but was welcomed with tea and cookies. The staff is amazing! First in the morning there is an educational presentation of Gettysburg history as well as true artifacts to view. Breakfast followed and it was AMAZING! ...

The grounds are amazing and tranquil and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful (even making coffee @ 5 am!) They always had cookies and lemonade as well as coffee and tea and the breakfast was enough to make you never want to leave. I will definately go back and recommend this place to anyone who goes.

If you want somewhere close, and truly a bed and breakfast atmospehere then this is it. The people were wonderful, helpful, and great. You wake up in the morning and they have a 1 hour lecture dealing with the civil war era, then a 2 course breakfast. There is a wireless network in the house. It's not in the center of town, so it's nice, quiet and secluded.
