    By ., 03/25/09
The price is as high as steak houses in New York. up from $12.00 the last time I was there to $63.00 now.in a couple of years???
The meat was tough, Chinchulines way overcooked.
I believe this place is on the way out.

I enjoyed every mouthful. I had beef for the appetizer, the main course, and for dessert. I savoured every mouthful. In addition, my wife wanted white wine and I red. The waitress brought us each a glass, then a refill. Then she just left the bottle of red on the table. Every time I went to the grill for more beef, when I returned the old plate was gone. The bill was about $12 us each. A very good value.

  • Amazing Value!!!

Seriously...a buffet of perfectly prepared meat and your own bottle of wine? For less than $15 US? Siga la Vaca was a hit with me and my friends on our Buenos Aires trip. We were seated after about a 20 min wait, but the food was well worth it. The restaurant is spacious and does not feel crowded or cluttered in any way. You have the choice of your cut of beef as well. Overall, when I think of the food of Buenos Aires, I miss Siga la Vaca.

  • The best of Buenos Aires
    By Jackie, 08/25/07
This is the first thing I remember from my visit to Buenos Aires. It is the restaurant that I recommend to anyone who asks me. The food was great, you cannot get out of there not satisfied. Plus, for 30 pesos or something close to it, you can have all meat you want, plus wine and dessert! Amazing, I recommend!

  • Good value for your pesos
    By Andrew, 06/07/07
While our group of 11 was promised a table within 30 minutes, it took nearly 2 hours to be seated. They ended up serving free empanadas to keep us happy. All cuts of beef and some pork are available all cooked to perfection. The meal includes a pitcher of soft drink or beer or a bottle of wine per person! The staff was attentive but slow. We ...

  • Great bargain for excellent food!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/07
This place is great! There is a long wait at times for a table since it is so popular with both locals and tourists. The food is very good and abundant. The free bottle of wine was unexpected and a nice addition to the overall experience. I normally am not a frequent meat eater. The true carnivore comes out in me when I go to Buenos Aires. This place is the best place to feed it! I highly recommend Siga La Vaca!

  • A good place for a good meat
    By Rafa, 12/04/06
In spite of a half an hour waiting for a table to seat, this restaurant have an amazing tasty meat, with good wine, by a low cost price. I recommend.

A good all-you-can-eat steak and salad bar but the meat is just so-so. Cost at 26 pesos or about $8.50 US including wine, beer, or other drink, and dessert is remarkbale, just don't expect great steaks.

  • Best bargain in Buenos Aires!
    By PauloG, 06/03/06
That's the best place to eat and drink in Buenos Aires. Imagine that you can eat what you can for less than 6 dollars (20 pesos), in a buffet of meats and vegetables. Imagine that you can have one drink included in the price - but if you choose a wine, you'll can have no a cup of wine, but a entire bottle of wine (yes, and it's not a ...

  • Would not go back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/06
I am an airline crew member who travels often to Buenos Aires. I speak Spanish.

I had a hair in my food from one of the vegetable salads. Looked like a pube! Gross. Lost my appetite completely.

The beef was quite tough. The pork was fatty.

The service is not what it should be.

The glasses/silverware/plates seemed to have a layer of ...
