Loved It! Will stay there againWe went to Lawrence for a college visit. When making the reservation, Rob provided me with a lot of information about the area. He also told me that he would do everything he could to make my daughter's vist to KU memorable. He delivered on the promise. The inn was very charming.

married in September of 2005Very beautiful property, but owner Beverly also scammed us with over-charges. She also charged us by the paper plate. So when people got new plates for desert or for instance we had a guest who spilt their plate we got charged per plate. Beautifull disasterWhere to begin? My husband and I were married in October of 2006 at the inn. We had our reception in the barn and the power went out so many times that we finally had to unplug many of our items, such as the coffee maker,margarita maker and so forth. don't get married here-overcharges guestnice property, but owner very rude (Beverly) Rented out property for the weekend for a rehersal dinner, wedding, and reception. Paid $1200.00 for 35 people that was served on paper plates and out of tin foil pans. Wonderful experienceMy husband and I fondly remember when we stayed at the Victorian Veranda from a Friday evening through a Sunday morning a few years ago. The relaxing and natural environment was enhanced by the friendliness of Rob and Bev. The meals were delicious and balanced, plus the tastefully decorated rooms were inviting and homey.
