The rooms and grounds are beautiful. My king-sized bed was comfy and I really enjoyed sitting out in the treehouse with a glass of wine. The library is extensive and I spent a nice few hours reading there. Breakfast was great and the staff and owners were very attentive. Baths are small, but I was not bothered. The beauty of the area more than made up for this minor quibble.

Short but sweet stay

Enjoyed our stay very much! Likes: Cozy setting, beautiful and peaceful grounds, very private. Hot tub/pool/gazebo area nice too. Breakfast was superb.
Dislikes: Odd number rooms were cooler than even number rooms(got a little warm in our even number room). Bathroom and coffee cups were too small. Bed squeaked (put a damper on the romance)! : )
We stayed on a Sunday Night in July, 2006. The "Secret Garden" Room on the end of the 2nd floor is quite away from other guests. Bed comfortable and long enough for my 6'5" frame.
