The most wonderful time

I can tell you there was not one thing that we did not like. From our wonderful hostess Briquitte to our massage and the most wonderful food ever. I truly felt like a princess. Our wishes were met by our new friend Briquitte. You must do this at least once in your life. Ours was our 40th anniversary and it was truly made special. thanks Briquitte.

The Storybook Inn was having a special, $99/night, which fit our budget perfectly. The place was clean, the room had a huge, comfortable bed, breakfast was fantastic, and it's within walking distance to everything. It's a great option to staying in a big hotel chain.

Romantic Getaway

The lady at the front desk (Christine) was very nice and even gave us recommendations where to eat if we prefer not to dine at their restaurant. She even offered to make the reservation for us... very nice of her.

This place is really close to everything. We had a nice weekend there. The only downside was that we had trouble finding someone when we wanted to check out.

My fiance and I spent a night in the "Princess & The Pea" room last year, and it was such a romantic stay. The room was beautiful, the atmosphere was great and the whole weekend was fabulous.
We're looking forward to our next stay, but we need to wait until the weather is perfect since we travel by motorcycle.
Not only is it about the journey, but it is the destination, in this case!

This place was excellent! I came with my "now fiancee" from Japan. I am a native Los Angeleleno, currently living in Osaka, Japan. We go to quite a few B&Bs in California...this was one of our biggest disappointments.
You would think that the owners would realize the bulk of their business occurs over the weekend, regardless of season. Their staffing, except for at checkout, was virtually invisible. In the room, the bathtub was disgustingly moldy.

my husband and i have a very busy life and 2 teenagers we find little time to get away with their busy life and decide to come to the storybook inn it was wonderful we relaxed and were rejunvated we will come back again as this was just what the doctor ordered

What a Gem !!

We visited the Storybook Inn for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of L.A. What a relaxing place to go. We mentioned to the front desk person that it was our anniversay and there was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. The food was exquisite as was the charming and whimsical atmosphere. I'd definitely come back again. Stay in one of the jacuzzi suites if possible and ask for the ableskivers for breakfast.
