We came for the Mardi Gras and stayed in the European Suite. It is located above the garage in the backyard, it’s old and the construction lacks attention to detail, but it is also roomy, clean and the double Jacuzzi tub was nice (although you have to get in to turn the tap on – an inconvenience).
This B & B was definitely not a good fit for us. We were surprised to see all of the reject furniture, tools, junk, etc. piled up in the back yard. We saw bugs in our room and it was not throughly cleaned. Do not stay here.
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. HOPE TO GO AGAIN SOON. THE CARE TAKER WAS SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.YOU HAVE TO TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT. THEY EVEN LEAVE YOU COOKIES IN THE ROOM. THE OUTSIDE IS SO QUIET.
We visited Avenue O after having been to many different B&B's around the US and Canada and I have to say this one disappointed me. The room was decorated very eclectic and cute, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
