Top ten things that were just plain foul about this place:
1). the water surrounding the "island" was almost black - you couldn't see your feet if standing in at knee-deep.
2). the unit on the main level smelled so musty, like wet mildewed carpet, the smell burned your nose when you opened the door.

My family had 16 of us. We loved all the privace allowed us on this island. We saw about 20 boats the whole weekend. For a holiday weekend that is awsome. My wife loved the cute island homes. You could tell they had put a lot of time into the landscaping and lighting. We are already planing another family reuion next year in the spring.

I highly recomend staying at paradise found Island retreat to anyone ! It was a awesome experience we will allways remember!! The location is the only thing nice about this place. Camping on the grounds would have been nicer than staying in the accomodations. We loved the homes, cute island, Exactly as advertised,. The owner was great guide to the area and helped us when out boat had a problem. We are going return every year and spend a week next time. My kids caught 12 fish from the kayaks that were included in our stay. We loved sitting by the bonfire in the evening. haveing the owner on site was such a plus to us he told us were to catch fish. Were to get the best meals cheep.
