We have been staying at Big Ruby’s since 1994. The first few years were incredible. The staff was attentive and friendly. The place was immaculate. The owners ensured every detail was taken care of. The prices were excellent.

Owners changed several years ago, and the manager changed again about 5 years ago.

My partner and I have stayed at Big Ruby's for ten years now. We love it, and have never stayed anywhere else. The staff is always wonderfully kind and generous, and the guests are always been pleasant. We prefer a clothing-optional guest house that isn't "cruisey" but is still tons of fun. Big Ruby's is the BEST!

I liked the place because it's nature-like and very clean. The pool surrounded by plants and trees is awesome. You feel very much at home, and the staff is courteous. The location is excellent --- it's right there at the center of fun. My partner and I would like to stay here again when we go back to Key West.

We first came here 7 years ago and every year we feel it's losing it's magic yet we keep coming back. It's just little minor things like the less than stellar "Happy Hour", the $1.00 soda machine vs the old honor system set up, the choice of music in the sun yard, the pool temperature (cool), no hot tub, and the worse offender ...
