we stayed at the semi-private room and really had a comfortable time.
The view of the ocean from the balcony was a real bonus and the cleaning service in the common place in the semi-private room was an extra bonus!! (I have some expericence, staying at hostels in North America, Europe and Japan but I've never had such a service...)
This is the place you surely would regret if you don't stay longer...

The service was in complete Aloha -friendly, comforting and accomodating. I felt like I was at home staying here from the moment I walked in the door....and they even moved things around to find space for me when they were booked out. Its an easy walk to town and a truly peaceful place to call home for a few days....unlike other hostels I have experienced.

such a nice place, awesome people and service, very clean, feels like at home! You have access to internet for a dollar a day, nice and clean bathroom, good lounge and kitchen area, really cool atmosphere.
You HAVE to stay there if you come to Kona!
