The food, portions, and prices are great. Wait staff is very friendly. Now...if you like Chocolate cake, the Fort is the place to go. They make an individual portion chocolate cake with a moose type filling that is just to die for, and the price can't be beat. My only gripe would be that the price of their pie slices is wwwaayy over priced for what you get.

Good food and lots of it

Stopped by at the suggestion of a co-worker. It's a neat place... log cabin walls and a wrap-around counter in the center (must be like sitting at a large family gathering). Huge meals at a pretty reasonable price. Open 24 hours. I had the meat loaf (obviously made from scratch... lots of chunks of mushroom and onion). Home-made gravy, real mashed potatoes, fresh green beans. Mmmmmm.

Food is always good! Usually don't have to wait to long to be waited on or served. Prompt seating. Portions are good, so like the other poster said, Make Sure You Are Hungry! The waitresses are usually very nice too. The meals are a bit pricey but taking into considertion the portion size and the taste of the food...It's Well Worth It!!

MAKE SURE YOU ARE HUNGRY

This is the best place to go for breakfast - especially if you are starving!!! The biggest and best omelets. Anything from the bakery is delish, too, because it's from Lou's Bakery in Hanover. I have never had a bad meal at The Fort.
