Atmosphere was nice, music was a little too loud for conversation.
Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and helpful.
Food on the other hand was very disappointing. Salad Bar fresh, but nothing special, All steaks except the filet minon was like shoe leather! Looked great when they brought it to the table, but couldn't chew it! Ribs, ...

7/10/08 Just got home from Gauchos. WHAT A RIP-OFF! $35.00 and the meal was the worse meal I have even eaten. The meat was dry, bland, fatty and the side dishes were pathetic. The salad bar was awful. My friend and I were tempted to just leave but we're not like that. I have NEVER had a meal that was so tasteless and bland.
WIth those kind of prices and such low quality food, I'll be surprised to see it last another year.

We took my parents here on a Saturday evening to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. We had an excellent experience. You do want to arrive hungry and pace yourself throughout the meal. Went to Gauchos with a friend. Salad bar was excellent. Main course was good, but the servers were slow with some of the meats, and there were some that didn't appear until after we finished our meal, notably the prime rib.

I tried this place about 1.5 years ago with my girlfriend. Completely by accident, we arrived at the restaurant just as it had opened for dinner that day. Needless to say, our service was fantastic. We did not have to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes if we wanted more food.

We went last night with another couple and were very dissapointed. The salad bar is limited, there are no labels so you have no clue what you're eating. Since their service has improved - it used to be abysmal! - they are absolutely wonderful! The food is to die for as are the sides and deserts. Their specialty drinks are deliciously dangerous. Go, go often.

My wife and I and a couple of friends had a great time at this delightful place. I loved the atmosphere, the people and most of all... the food.
