Every year when we come to Rhode Island, we MUST go to the Hitching Post at least twice. The fried shrimp dinner is great including the french fries. My wife loves the clam fritters. You can eat insidte or outside and the waitress inside, who is a teacher during the school year, is friendly and efficient.
