I stumbled upon this place looking for an alternate to the restaurants we normally eat at. My friend and I each enjoyed an incredibly dark in-house beer which was FANTASTIC. My friend -a vegan- had a Veggie Burrito which she thoroughly enjoyed. I, myself, had the Steak and Cheese - Which has to have been one of the best I've had EVER. Granted, ...
Mohegan Cafe is right on the main tourist strip, so we thought it might be overpriced. It also is basically a brewpub, so we thought the food would be burgers and wings. Wrong on both counts. The seafood paella and the scallops were both excellent and came with delicious big salads. The house stout beer was also very good, as was the chocolate cake. Our server was a bit brusque, but, hey, it was the end of a busy season. Recommended.
