My fiancee really wanted to try this place, so I took her there one night. We had reservations and showed up 5 minutes early only to wait 30 minutes for a table. The fried calamari appetizer and accompanying sauce was excellent. The Hanger steak was just okay. The rack of lamb with spicy pesto noodles was just okay as well. The food overall was okay, but not worthy of $35 per entree that they charge.

I've liked his fusion style for years, watched his shows and even tried his recipes. He not only is imaginative his food is refreshingly new in many different ways and exploits different ingredients in different ways. Finally I went to eat at Ming's place Blue Ginger with my mother and sister during lunch time. I was the only male in the ...

too loud: I must say that I was expecting totally different atmosphere. I thought it would be nice and quiet place. Instead I felt like I was at the bar. I couldn't talk to my boyfriend and I couldn't hear him. Food was good. Service OK.

  • One of the best meals...

The butterfish was one of the best dishes I've ever had. I can't think of anything else to say about it... it melted in your mouth.

I also enjoyed the service. A very nice waiter. I hear Ming Tsai will visit with his customers, but on the day we were there he was apparently absent.

The waiter talked me into the the ginger ale, ...

You wouldn't think grilled steak goes with cold cucumbers or foie gras in Chinese shao mui, but they blend together and complement perfectly. This is Asian fusion done right. The atmosphere is a little louder than I'd like but is pleasant.

Blue ginger is a rather upscale resturaunt located in Wellsley Massachusetts. Blue Ginger is a oriental eatery with american flare. My scrumptious meal began with crispy pot stickers for an appetizer. For diner I had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. For dessert I had ice cream with a mini alomond cone. Overall my meal was very refreshing.
