Hayashi is so delicious!! It's a small place but the food is great whether you order sushi or something else you will not be disappointed at all. I go to Hayashi 2-3 a week for sushi and I just cant find any other place that compares to it!!

In the area on business, I dropped in on Hayashi for some sushi. Very nice. It's a small, cozy restaurant. Nice ambiance. Their music selection was enjoyable - a mix of jazz and some modernish sounds. I got Nigiri (Maguro, Hamachi, Tako, and Sake), and savored every piece. The Hamachi seemed very fresh. And I've never seen Sake cut ...

Quite possibly the best sushi in all of Massachusetts. They use the best ingredients, and their sushi chef takes pride in his art.

My girlfriend and I decided we'd try all the sushi restaurants we could find within an couple hours of travel between us, and after 15 or so places, Hayashi was the last one which ended the long search. We go ...

I consider myself an amatuer Connoisseur of sushi,, and this little gem of a restaurant is my favorite. The fish is fresh, the atmosphere is cozy and updated, with a plazma television and fresh flowers on the tables. The owner is often hard at work and greeting her customers. I love Hayashi.

This is a small, but freindly restaurant. The food is great and there is a spectacular sushi menu. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it.

I go to Hayashi at least once a week, and have always found the service to be excellent and the food to be well worth the wait. Although weekends tend to be busier, everything is made to order and I know that Chef Young will only serve the freshest ingredience available. I've traveled much farther, paid more and waited much longer at sushi restaurants in Boston. Hayashi is without question the best sushi restaurant in the Boston market.

I am so happy to have found this place!

So close off Rt. 24, I am a regular here.

I love their comprehensive (but not overwhelming) menu. I also love the nutty Genmaicha (roasted rice tea)!

The service has always been friendly and sincere for me. I understand how it might seem inattentive at times but remember-- its a small ...

  • Decent Food, Slow Service
    By Robert, 06/02/06
We've gone to Hyashi many times, and the food is pretty good, but the service is so slow. We've been the only people in the restaurant, but the waitress almost acts like she doesn't realize we're there. The kitchen is really slow too.
