We stayed at the John Carver Inn so of course we ate at the Hearth and Kettle located in the inn. We ate breakfast,lunch and dinner there at least once. The breakfast was very good. Fantastic service! - They took our large group (50 angry, hungry teeenagers) at closing time when our dinner plans fell through. They provided unbelievable service and were very friendly. The food was great and very quick. Our angry mob was converted to mostly happy campers.

My family and I live right next to this Hotel...we walk over there every now and then and get dinner late at night when the streets are quiet. I usually get the meatloaf, which is a great meal when it's cold out, and my husband gets burgers...the onion rings are AMAZING! And I personally like it when it's quiet there...very nice place.
