For a black man to feel comfortable in an Irish bar is the mark of a great place. Friendly, good pub food, and they even made my Mom coffee with Irish stew. Cool place!

The best place to hang
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/05
Great music, great staff and an awesome crowd. The Burren is the place I always go back to meet old friends when I am in Boston. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy and crowed, but it's all part of the experience. If you find a place to sit, you can call it home for the rest of the night.

Good, cheap wine, friendly service, decent food. It's pretty family-style in the evenings, live music at night. Good fun all around.
