I live in Cleveland, Ohio. But when I visited my boyfriend who lives in Greenfield Ma, he took me to New Fortune chinese resturant. All I can say is, I LOVED IT! They have the best sesame chicken I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The PooPoo platter was very good also.
When ever I'm in Greenfield visiting my man, I always make sure to have a meal there or to go.

Best Chinese in the county! Sushi is excellent and Chinese options are as well. Luncheon and dinner specials make this an excellent affordable option for families. We love to go on our own, or have family gatherings here; everyone leaves happy!

The food here is ok, nothing more. I would stay away from the sushi during mid-week times when it is not being ordered as often- i had some that was a little crusty and got sick off it... Other than the sushi, the rest of the food is ok, very greasy, and very Americanized, but maybe thats your thing... China Gourmet is still the best Greenfield has to offer though.

It is a fairly close call, but I have to say I like New Fortune better than China Gourmet. I've been to both (or ordered delivery in the case of New Fortune) about 7 or 8 times at each place. China Gourmet tends to be really crowded too. The waitstaff at both are extremely friendly. I usually order sushi. I didn't really like the calamari at China Gourmet. I've never been displeased with anything yet at New Fortune.
