Bizen is wonderful. The chef's choice sushi was outstanding. I live in Boston and besides New York City I would dare say that this is the best I have had. Kudos to Michael Marcus on bringing the east to the west. It can get crowded during the Summer season especially on weekends so make sure to call and make a reservation.

Their food isn't all that "Japenese" except for name and ingredients (i.e. style/preparation differ). And the dinner prices are pretty steep although lunch is possible on a budget.

I personally like the chicken kudzu lunchbox but there's plenty of other options. Their sushi is alright but not outstanding.

I love it at Bizen!! I also think the owner, Michael is a really cool guy.
