Great location for this hotel. They try hard to be like other "Leading Hotels" but just don't have what it takes. Our bedroom was nice but looked out into the parking garage. The hotel also damaged our car but hotel Manager George Buell was entirely non-responsive. There are plenty of hotels better in the area.

Just got back from the Market Pavilion in Charleston. Expensive, yes, but a fantastic hotel. The service, location, style was absolutely first class. We parked the car for three days and walked everywhere we needed to go. The location was perfect. The restaurants and nightlife are all over the place within a couple of blocks. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Chucktown.

Service starting at the door. Beautiful, plush rooms. Marble Bathrooms. Turndown service with robes, slippers and cookies. Conceirge will arrnage anything. Walk right out the door and you are there.

This is a wonderful place. We loved the pool bar even before we checked in there. The restaurant is great. The service is great. And you can't beat the location.

When we went (July 2006) they had a special on the concierge level of $240, which was worth it. I wouldn't pay much more than that though.

All in all, a great place to stay.

Horrible experienc!!! The sad thing is it could have been great. The hotel is amazing the food was excellent, but the management is the worst I have ever delt with. If you expect first class service this is not the place for you. I believe that you get what you pay for, but that's not the case here. I hate bashing anyone but the management here really deserves it! What a shame! Such a beautiful place that can't be run properly!
