When we visited the Avalon Lodge the bathroom was in terrible shape. The toilet seat was broken, the toilet continued to run after you flushed the toilet, and there was no hot water. We stayed for 2 nights at Avalon. The staff was very helpful. The pool is heated and was very nice and clean. We really enjoy our stay at Avalon we will be back.

We stayed in a spa room that was so charming. It was warm during our stay but they had 2 fans if we needed them.The staff were very friendly and made our trip even nicer. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the sights of Tahoe. I can't wait to go back!!!!!

We stayed there 5 days in September and never once saw the owners who give the impression that they left the corporate world to live their dream of owning a lodge The place was very run down and in need of major repairs. The place has no A/C which for my summer visit was not good. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room and I was told I would be charged for two days if I left. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. The pool is tiny and very dirty. I would like to express my stongest reservations to anyone considering staying at this place.
