From Crandon, WI, Travel US 8 several miles turning right (north) onto County S. Take County S northbound until it ends at Hwy. 32. Turn left (northwest) on 32 and bypass the lake. Shortly, turn left (west) onto Hiles Road. Make an immediate left (south) onto Pine Lake Road to reach campground.
Location Information
Pine Lake Campground is located along the west shore of one of the largest lakes within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The 1,667-acre Pine Lake is a favorite of anglers. If you are looking for northern pike, bass, walleye, or pan fish, this is the place! Twelve wooded campsites, a nice sandy beach, and a picnic area complete the setting. With a paved access road and toilet facilities that are wheelchair accessible, Pine Lake Campground is a real gem.
