From Mellen, WI, Travel west on County GG, then turn right (north) on FR 187.
Location Information
Lake Three Campground offers 8 campsites in a hardwood forest on the 63-acre Lake Three. Three of the campsites have a nice overlook of the lake. Each site offers a parking spur, fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad. The campsites can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet. Drinking water, vault toilets, and a boat launch are available. The North Country National Scenic Trail is adjacent to the campground. Nearby is Springbrook, which is Class 1 brook trout stream. Lake Three has bass and pan fish waiting for your line. While you're in the area, be sure to visit Morgan Falls, St. Peter's Dome, and the Penokee Overlook.
