Sunkota Ridge Trail is a part of the trail system just above Bryson City. It runs between Deep Creek and Indian Creek Road Trails. It is a moderate trail climbing only 2,800 feet over a 9 mile stretch. The trail connects with Martin Gap about midway. If you take Martin Gap over to Deep Creek Trail and turn south, this offers a nice loop trail back down to Deep Creek Ranger Station and Campground.
