From Cherokee, NC, Travel north on US 441 about 7 miles to the Smokemont Campground where there is a trail beside the Bradley Fork.
Location Information
This is a moderate trail traveling 5 miles and only changing elevation of 900 feet. The trail travels along side the Bradly Fork Creek on an old gravel road which offers several side trails to surrounding ridge trails including the famous Appalachian Trail. The last mile of Bradley Fork is used heavily by horseback riders. There is a primitive campsite along along the path has been known to be visited by black bears. Note: Hang food high.
