Directions
From Manistique, MI, Travel US 2 west about 10 miles taking CR 437 north. Travel CR 437 about 6 miles. Turn left (west) onto CR 443 which jogs onto CR 422. Take CR 422 a short distance crossing over Fishdam River. Campsites are on the immediate left.
Location Information
Camp Cook is located along the Fishdam River off CR 442, about 27 miles northwest of Manistique. There are four primitive campsites that may be reserved for individuals, families or small groups. There is a large, open area suitable for scouting groups. This camping area provides immediate access to excellent brook, brown, and rainbow trout fishing. Swimming is not available at Camp Cook, however, there is an excellent beach and changing house at Camp 7 Lake Campground that is only 2 miles away.

Camping permits are required and available through the Ranger District office, 906-341-5666.

Primitive toilets and drinking water is available at this site. Camp supplies, food, and gasoline are available along H13 and CR 437 in the Thunder Lake Area.
