Location Information
This group area is located a short distance off the Ruby Road near Peqa Blanca Lake. It is available for use only by groups that reserve it in advance. The access road is gated and locked when the area is not being used. Reservations may be made by calling the district office (520.281.2296), at least four weeks in advance (Major holidays are often reserved a year in advance).

A major attraction at Calabasas Group Site is nearby Peqa Blanca Lake. This popular area for fishing, boating, and bird watching is just a short drive on paved roads from the campground. Groups do come to Calabasas, however, to enjoy the area's natural setting. Campsites here are spread out among a stand of oak trees within a shallow, grassy valley. A few well-worn pathways lead to the tops of some low hills in the area where you will find good views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and mountains.

Calabasas offers 6 tables and fire grills in a quiet setting near the lake. No drinking water is provided. The area is closed to all but groups with reservations. There are no RV hookups. Pets must be on a leash.
Pack and saddle stock are not permitted in campground or picnic areas.
Firewood is not available.
