From The West Thumb Geyser Basin parking area, Look for a trailhead sign at the entrance. The West Thumb Geyser Basin parking area is reached by traveling north on Hwy. 89/191 north from the South Entrance.
Location Information
Yellowstone Lake Overlook Trail, located near Grant Village and West Thumb, offers a moderate 2 mile roundtrip hike to a high mountain meadow for a commanding view of the West Thumb of Yellowstone Lake and the Absaroka Mountains.
