From Moose, Travel North to South Jenny Lake along the Teton Park Road. Once at South Jenny Lake park either at the Jenny Lake Visitor Center or near the boat dock which offers a boat shuttle across the lake.
Location Information
Lake Solitude, located in Cascade Canyon, offers a strenuous 18.4 roundtrip hike to Lake Solitude. The journey can be shortened by four miles if the shuttle boat is taken across Jenny Lake (fee charged). To arrive at Lake Solitude, follow popular Cascade Canyon Trail to Hidden Falls, then continue up to Inspiration Point overlooking Jenny Lake and Jackson Hole. This beautiful hike has views of the Grand Teton, Mt. Owen and Teewinot.
