Location Information
TRAILHEAD LOCATION: On Forest Road #207, a high clearance two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive road.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Trail starts at 7,600 feet in scattered sagebrush and limber pine, and ends high in the alpine environment. A high-water trail signed at Jack Creek Trailhead has been constructed to eliminate two water crossings which are potentially dangerous during spring runoff. The high-water trail and the Greybull River trail join at Anderson Creek. The trail follows the river bottom with the canyons walls rising steeply on both sides. Occasionally the canyon opens to offer views to Francs Peak, Pyramid Peak and Irish Rock. There are limited camping opportunities due to the trail traveling on the river bed. The first suitable horse camping areas are eight miles from the trailhead. Horse corrals, stock unloading ramp, picnic tables and toilet facilities are provided at the trailhead.
