Directions
From Cody, Follow US Highway 14, 16, 20 west for 29.5 miles. Turn into Elks Fork campground and continue to trailhead.

TRAILHEAD INFORMATION: Elks Fork campground and continue to trailhead.

GENERAL INFORMATION: The Elk Fork Trail crosses Elk Fork Creek at three, four and four and one-half miles. After 6 miles the trail enters the wilderness area and from this point on, motorized vehicles are prohibited. The creek is again crossed at 8.5 miles and 11 miles as it continues up a steep, rocky grade. Elk Fork Trail enters a grassy meadow, climbs to Rampart Pass and continues into the Teton National Forest.
