Directions
From Lander, Travel 18 miles west on Sinks Canyon Road, WY 313, to Worthen Meadows Reservoir junction and veer right. Pass the signed Sheep Bridge trail turnoff and continue south of Worthen Meadow Reservoir to the signed Roaring Fork trailhead 2,5 miles from Louis Lake Road.
Location Information
TRAILHEAD LOCATION: Two and a half miles from Louis Lake Road.

GENERAL INFORMATION: The Stough Creek Lakes Trail begins climbing steadily up a rocky road 1/2 mile to Roaring Fork Lake crosses the outlet of the lake, and at 1.7 miles reaches a corduroy over a marsh. Break out of the trees and begin a gradual climb west. At 3 miles the trail crosses a tributary and swings across a meadow to an open alpine saddle, Roaring Fork Pass. At this point the view takes in Roaring Fork Mountain and Wind River Peak. the trail then drops steadily to a creek crossing at 4.5 miles and enters the Popo Agie Primitive Area boundary at 5.5 miles shortly beyond this point, go left at the junction, continue left after .5 miles to Big Stough Lake or stay right to the other Stough Creek Lakes. This trail then follows Stough Creek up to the Middle Fork Trail.
