Directions
From Cody, Travel South Fork Road WY 291 for 36 miles to Forest Road #480. Follow Forest Road #480 southwest for five miles to the signed trailhead parking area. Hitching racks, stock ramp, toilet facilities and a picnic table provided.
Location Information
TRAILHEAD LOCATION: Off of Forest Road #480 five miles southwest of WY 291, at signed trailhead.

GENERAL INFORMATION: The trail skirts around a private ranch to avoid the buildings and at 2 miles trail enters the river bottom. After nearly 5 miles the trail crosses Aspen Creek and enters Wilderness Area. At 9 miles trail reaches Catwalk Trail. After 15 miles the trail crosses the South Fork river. At 19 miles trail alternates between small meadows and heavy timber. Here is junction with the Marston Fork Trail while after 22 miles is the Clark Creek Trail junction. Trail crosses Bliss Creek Meadows and meets the junction of Crescent Creek Trail after 26 miles. after a short climb, Shoeshine Pass is reached. Here trail leaves the Wapiti district and continues for another 6 miles on the Wind River Ranger district to Trail Lake as the East Dunoir Trail.
