From Pinedale, Go north on Skyline Drive. Turn toward Halfmoon Lake and the campground. It is a total of about 10 miles to the campground.
Location Information
LOCATION: About 10 miles north of Pinedale, on Halfmoon Lake. ATTRACTIONS: A commercial resort is located 1/2 mile away. Additional parking is available at the boat ramp. Though there are no trails immediately at the campground, there is some hiking to the east of the lake. NATURAL SETTING: This campground is located on Halfmoon Lake. Sites are surrounded by willow trees, and beaches line the lake shore. Most sites offer a good view of the lake. The southern shore of the lake is lined with pine trees and a very steep slope. FACILITIES: Picnic tables, toilets, fire grates, a refuse container, some trailer pull-throughs, and a boat launch nearby. There is NO drinking water at the campground.
