From Incline Village, Travel north along Highway 431 (Mt. Rose Highway) until the Mt. Rose Rose Campground. The trailhead is about 1 mile from Mt. Rose Summit.
Location Information
Mount Rose Campground is located northwest of Lake Tahoe near Mount Rose Summit. The Mount Rose Summit Trail begins near the campground. The campground sits at an elevation of 8,900 feet. Facilities at the campground include 22 campsites, water and toilets. The sites have a meximum trailer length of 16 feet.
