From Jackson, CA, Take State Highway 88 east. Travel south along Blue Lakes Road. Take the Tamarack Lake road through Indian Valley to Wet Meadows.

Located east from Jackson, CA, This moderately used trailhead provides access to the Pacific Crest national Trail (PCT) and Mokelumne Wilderness.

Please Remember:

* Always carry drinking water.
* Hike in single file to keep trails narrow and wild.
* Prevent erosion, follow the trail and do NOT cut switch backs.
* Keep trails clean, pack out ALL paper and trash.
* Protect plants and wildlife.
