Directions
From Detroit, Travel east on Hwy. 22 from Detroit Ranger Station for 18 miles. At Marion Forks, turn left onto Road 2255; go 1/8 mile to west end of trail.
Location Information
Independence Rock Trail (#3431) is an easy to moderate 1.7 miles of trail. Nice viewpoint of local area. Very large anthills along trail. Lightly used trail. Near Marion Forks Campground, Fish Hatchery, and Guard Station.
