Directions
From Blue River, Travel 3.5 miles east on Hwy. 126 to Aufderheide Road (FS road 19). Continue on Aufderheide Drive for 26 miles to Box Canyon Guard Station. The trailhead is in the Box Canyon Horse Camp.
Location Information
McBee Trail #3523 is a more difficult 20.5 mile hike at an elevation of 3,840 feet. This trail starts at Box Canyon Horse Camp which allows horses-persons to camp and then ride into the Three Sisters Wilderness. The trail leads into Mink Lake basin and Horse Lake Area. It junctions with Crossing Way Trail #3302 and Elk Creek Trail #3510.
