From Blue River, Travel east on Hwy. #126 or 4 miles and turn right onto Rd. 19 (Aufderheide Forest Drive.) Continue for 3 miles to Cougar Dam. At the dam turn left onto Rd. 1993 for 12 miles to Lowder Trailhead on the right.
Location Information
Quaking Aspen Trail #3332 is a more difficult 1.9 mile hike at an elevation of 4,720 feet. This trail passes by Quaking Aspen Swamp Botanical Area in the Three Sisters Wilderness Area and follows Aspen Creek. There are many points of interest along the way.
