From Blue River, Travel 3.5 miles east on Hwy. 126 to Aufderheide Road (FS road 19). Continue on Aufderheide Drive for 3 miles to Cougar Dam. At the dam turn left onto Rd. 1993 for 14 miles to Pat Saddle Trailhead on the right. From the trailhead hike the Olallie Trail #3529 south for 2.25 miles to the junction of the Olallie Mountain Trail on the right.
Location Information
Olallie Mountain Trail #4100 is a more to most difficult 1.4 mile hike at an elevation of 4,960 feet. After leaving Olallie Trail #3529 Olallie Mountain Trail becomes progressively steeper for approximately 0.5 miles, then follows the ridge line and climbs again to the summit of Olallie Mountain (5,700 feet.) At the summit you have a magnificent view of the Cascades and the Three Sisters Wilderness.
