Directions
From Sweet Home, Travel east on hwy. #20 for 17 miles and turn right on Forest road 2032 (Gordon Road.) Travel 5 miles and turn left on spur road 325. The trailhead is at the end of the spur.
Location Information
Gordon Lakes Trail is a moderate 7.2 mile hike at an elevation of 3,000 feet. Starting in a recent clear-cut, the trail switchbacks into remnant pockets of old-growth forest. paralleling falls Creek, it slowly climbs to Gordon Meadows. you will pass under Soapgrass Mountain, a sheer basalt cliff, before arriving a the lakes, which contains cutthroat trout.
