Directions
From Blue River, Travel east on Hwy. #126 for 4 miles and turn right onto Rd. 19 (Aufderheide Forest Drive). Proceed 11.5 miles south and turn right onto Rd. 1980. Travel for 7 miles and turn right onto 1980-247 and follow this road for 2 miles to an old clearcut unit and the trailhead.
Location Information
Indian Ridge Trail #3315 is a more difficult 2.1 mile hike at an elevation of 5,200 feet. This trail traverses old Indian campground and passes through patches of huckleberries. The unmanned Indian Ridge lookout can be seen from the trail. Some spots offer breathtaking views of surrounding mountain. The trail mainly goes through 2 small bear grass meadows and second growth Douglas Firs.
